That's a good spot to point out... I catch a lot of spots and largemouth on those sand drops on the oconee river and ocmulgee rivers in Milledgeville, ga.. The shoal bass on the Flint and ocmulgee rivers, I catch mainly in the shoals/rapids... but if I want a big old largemouth, I'll just throw to laydowns on the bank in the lazier areas of the rivers .... especially after a good few days of rain, after the river calms back down from being blown out, those sand drops are fire...

I use 15lb braid to 12lb leader.. is this overkill or acceptable? And I use 50lb braid on my frog rod..

Yes..! Daniel has been a huge mentor to me in learning how to tournament fish.. I joined his club (SEGKBF) 2 years ago and haven't missed a single one of them.. even managed to win one on lake julliette, and win a Derby on the Canoochie river..! Thanks for always being there for me Daniel... Our friendship means a lot to me..!

Thanks Christopher.. it's not something I really talk about to my circle of friends now, xause it's not something I'm proud of at all.. but it us my past, not my present, and dang sure not my future...! Thanks.!!

I stay in the rivers in the summertime ..!! Fish bite better and it's easier to cool off.!!
