This was a issue in a club I'm in just a couple weeks ago.. the judges let a few slip by that should've been dq'd... always check your picture before you release your bass... hand placement, identifier, mouth closed and nose touching, and hand placement... ck photo, release. When a judge let's one slip by, it affects every angler placement below that one..

Sexy shad, or chartreuse belly w/ black back are always good for stained water... with rattles... clearer water I throw more realistic colors.. sometimes just the same colors as I throw in dirtier water.. basically, same thing Alex and Kevin said..lol
