Me and 2 of my friends, Kevin Gray and Bobby Reese..., have decided to partner with Travis Foulks of SCYAK (South Carolina Yak) to bring a much needed kayak tournament trail to Georgia.. We've already secured several sponsors.. Festive Water Paddlesports, 706 Baits, Muddy Bay Outfitters, AZ Custin baits, Four Seven Lures, even Steve Owens the head of BASS Nation Kayak Series is behind us and helping, even Daniel Woodcock who niw runs an online trail, who has been a huge inspirationti me from my very 1st tournament I fished (it was with his club/trail....and several more..The response weve gotten since announcing this has been overwhelming..! We have a group Page on facebook... Georgia Yak... Travis runs an awesome trail in South Carolina and is gonna help us with ours..

Got on some Ocmulgee river Shoal bass.. caught 10 or something, but nothing big enough to enter in the Big Bass Challenge.. Im going after THOSE bass tonight.!!

Ok, I ordered a new kayak.. about a month ago, from Festive Water Paddlesports in Cumming Georgia. I'm on their fishing team, and we have a group chat.. alot of good guys are in there, and I fish side by side, with and against them. My new Bonafide RVR119 kayak build i had ordered has a nk180pro HD motor, a 24v system, Wizard foot steering, Anchor Wizard, a blackpak and a shortstack... the whole deal, my dream kayak.. Corey Richardson and I were going to pick it up the other day, with my debit card in my hand to buy it..

When I got there, Nathan Skinner and Tim Brenner (owners of Festive Water) presented me with this letter (attached).. my friends, without me knowing, had gotten together and bought the kayak for me., and Bonafidedinated the kayak cushions, and Yakattack donated the blackpak, shortstack, anchor wizard and some attachments . I was speechless. It was done to give me a little joy considering what ive been thru lately, losing my daughter and granddaughter last month to a head on collision when another driver veered into their lane killing him also, and sending my other 2 grandchildren to other hospitals via life-flights.. I'm so blown away at the support Ive gotten from the fishing community and my friends. Look at the list of names that came tigether to make this happen, Chad Hoover, Andrew Blair (Andrew also gave me a 5 night stay at Relaxed Retreat on Sante Cooper whenever im ready to go, and he'll show me some hunny holes too.!) , Nathan Skinner, Alex Perz... , Bonafide, Yakattack, Caleb Acosta, Shawn Widdows (Corey and Shawn headed the charge to make this happen.)

I know my daughter would be so proud of the change Ive gone thru, and of the friends I now have compared to 4 years ago when I was a totally different person..

I went to Festive Water Paddlesports in Cumming Georgia to buy my new kayak that they've been rigging for 3 weeks.. and they GAVE it to me... A bunch of my friends chipped in and bought it.. surprised me 100%... i had no idea.!

Well..... Stuck a rod tip straight into my eyeball... Fished another 4 hours and had to throw in the towel.. on the way to the ER now, I hope its not as bad as it feels, altho its cut pretty bad.. my month has been bad enough as it is..
