I always stand my net up at the head of the ketchboard... I promise you, this trick has saved me 100's of flippin bass..! Lost a 23" one last summer during a big tournament, about cried... have done the net trick every time from then on...

We had a lot if rain.. and at lake Julliette it's always muddier at the north end of the lake.. where the Ocmulgee river runs into it.. Clearer at the south end where the dam is.. North end has a few thousand stumps and submerged timber.. only 2 boatramps, one at each end..I always launch at the north end..(no ffs on my kayak).. caught this one by casting choppo whopper Plopper (110 size) past a big stump and retrieving right past it.. soon as it got about a foot on this side of the stump, huge topwater blow up.. !

Missed the roundtable.... but I have to brag, that I'm in 2 kayak bass fishing clubs here in middle Georgia... GAKFL and SEGKBF... I've managed to fight my way up into 2nd place in both clubs in our AOY races, which I'm proud of.. with only 2 or 3 tournaments left in the season, I don't know if I'll make it to 1st place but I'm sure trying.. In GAKFL, I would be in 1st place right now, but a friend that is in 1st place caught Big Bass, and got 5 extra points for it... and right now he's only 3 points ahead of me... and, I've don't this without ffs, and I'm about the only guy without it on my kayak, against 30 to 40 guys that have it.. yep, bragging.

I fish the Flint river, and the ocmulgee river here in Ga.. for shoal bass. Oconee also (no shoal bass in there). Here in middle Georgia. nothing like spending the day kayaking up river, wade fishing the good spots, and catching 20 shoal, spotted, and largemouth bass on a hot, hot day..!!
