I meant to say that I picked the MUDDIEST end of the lake to fish.

Congratulations Chris... it was good seeing you at the awards.. I didn't make it to the podium, but I did tie for Big Bass award... but the tie breaker went to Marvin Santana cause his 2nd bass was bigger than mine.... which, I didn't even gave a 2nd bass.lol..

Proud of you Corey... I only caught one big enough for the board.. Glad it was a 21.50" (5.06lb) largemouth tho..

Lake Sinclair... Fished the SEGKBF kayak bass tournament... didn't do too good, picked the buddies end of the lake to fish I do believe... but I did catch a 21.50", 5.06lb largemouth.. I didn't realize it's mouth was open, so that was a ½" penalty even tho it was only ¼" open, if even that..(see image)... otherwise I would've won Big Bass award.. Rookie mistake, live and learn, ended up 9th place. I caught 5, but 4 were small... and 2 spit my hook.. Really bummed today with my "performance "....

is that true?

Great, been waiting for this.. I'll share it with my friends cause they've been asking. !! Thanks !

That's the same way I do mine.. I've lost so many flippers it ain't even funny. lost a 22" one during a tournament once that BROKE my heart.! Bad words were heard all over the land ....and water. lol.

it was good seeing you at the tournament yesterday bro, and congratulations!!

Yes sirrr.! I love that night bite.. Fishing dock lights at night on lake Sinclair produces some big ones.. and it cuts way down on trying to decide where to cast.. I always position my kayak out on the edge of the dock, in the dark and fan cast, starting out deep and fan casting from the edge of the light all the way to up under the light.. love it..!

Chris, enter the TRF free online monthlong tournaments. they have them every month. sometimes it's your one biggest bass, sometimes it's your 3 biggest, sometimes it's your 5.. there's only a 1st place award but atleast it keeps you fresh ..and you can see where you stand among other anglers..TRF (Tyler's Reel Fishing) on fishing chaos.
