I kayak bass fish with 2 clubs this year... GAKFL (Ga Kayak Fishing League) and SEGKBF (South East Georgia Kayak Bass Fishing)...
And I'm in 2nd place IN BOTH CLUBS in the AOY race..! I can't begin to tell ya how proud a man I am right now..!!!
I got out early on the Potomac River to catch a few bass before our extreme heat wave in Northern Virginia. Summer is here now.
Me and ny uncle fished sunday morning around schooling largemouth uncle got his rod broken by a 4 pounder and i got a new boat do much fun driving a bass boat fun hot days to come 🎣
Went to Ocmulgee River, Majorie Khan Popper boatramp, with a good friend yesterday, caught 7 shoal bass fun fishing.... River was up, current was strong... pulling the kayaks up thru the shoals a good ways then cruising back down thru them was definitely sketchy... a lot of praying goes on hopeing to not flip and lose all out gear.. Wore slap out this morning, not as young as I once was.!! But great fun when it's done..
Finished the road trip at Alum Creek today. Did a lot of idling and scanning. Caught a couple nice ones. Learned some about the lake. There is A LOT of boat traffic. Can't wait to do it again over the the 4th.
Day 2 at Indian went well launched this morning with a tournament. Weigh in was at 230 I got off the water at 3. Took 13.8 and 13.4 to get in the money. I had 11.4. A nice respectable bag. It's back to Alum Creek for tomorrow before heading home
Day 1 at Indian lake did not disappoint had just under 11lbs. Learned some about the lake going to explore more tomorrow
