Well lake Hartwell kicked my but! I got one fish maybe 2 1/2 3 lbs on a SMH worm to the boat and I reached down and almost got my hand to him and the line popped.{I’ll be changing all my line today) Had a young boater that was a very good respectful young man. We were scoping all day. But I’m not using that for an excuse we got close to a few docks which is where I lost the only bite I got. I just didn’t execute! At the end of the day the Lord gave us a gorgeous day and I had a great time trying!! I will learn how to catch fish deep without any electronics of it kills me lol and I will learn to make my opportunities count! Some how still 34 in points and Sante Cooper is in 3 weeks so I’ll be researching it and try to be ready to get the job done there.

Sat down with my wife today to map out the tournament season and wow - 14 events from March to October across multiple states! Looking at it all laid out really put things in perspective.
But here's what got me – this season begins the anniversary of my father's death and wraps up the day before his birthday. It wasn't planned this way, but somehow feels meaningful. Now, it's about competing and representing SUF and BLat – but it's also about making the old man proud.
I can't wait to put in the work, break down these lakes, and make every cast count and share it with you. – let's make this season count.

Came north to our other place near Orlando this weekend. Half asleep this morning got up and searched YouTube to find some new spots. Started watching this guy fish a spot. He seemed very familiar sounding dressed all in Z-Man attire. After the coffee hit, I realized it was BLat from 5 years ago! Went to the same spot near the Florida turnpike. Pulled in 4 largies in about an hour on a downsized jerkbait. One was a darn nice one. Great coincidence!
