Well I finally got out and about yesterday. Thanks to John Wilson I was reminded of and took it to a newish body of water... Only fished it once back in 2020 when I had zero clue what I was doing... Caught two pitching a drop shot into the timber! They are small but the first fish of 2026... I saw a bald eagle to boot! Seen more and more over the years, always pretty cool when you see them! (It's hard to tell but if you zoom in you can kind of see the white feathers on it's head. I saw it fly across the lake I'm not crazy... Well ya know.)

Question: I want to do some inshore fishing in Louisiana. I want to take my tracker 190 and fish out of it. Has anyone fished their aluminum boat in saltwater? What should I be mindful of?

Got a nice 2.3# largemouth with her lipstick on. Crankin Bones 1.5 in bluegill down some rocks lake Hartwell brown road bridge lunch break. It kinda looked like they were letting water in. But not sure appearance’s can be deceiving.

Finally got a couple hours to get out there yesterday got this 2 pounder. Just glad to see some activity here again in the ponds. Crazy weather saw about half a dozen swimming they were not interested in anything thrown at them. Kept swimming into trees that are down in water. Yo B what do you suggest when this happens. I must have cast 10 different baits, in all water columns, 20 times each at those bass.
