New boat! 2025 Avid Vertex 20 with a 175 SHO. Spot lock, live scope, etc.

Well I fished my first "In person" tournament this past weekend. Went the the Flint River for what I'd like to say was a "spotted bass eradication tournament". It was sucky conditions for everyone. Not big bags at all so that made me feel better. I only caught one but recent rains had the rivers rising and murky... Still had a blast and represented the SUF Family! It was nice to get away for the day and fish new waters.
We’re doing a live class tonight! This one we’re going to talk about how we collect and use information for tournaments.
Hey SUfAm!
Don't forget to tune in tonight's Roundtable. We're going to going over the results and votes for the mini retreat and moving on with planning!
See you all at 8PM EST!

Fished my first national level kayak tournament on Champlain weekend before last. It was a really dope experience. A larger field than I’ve been up against with some of the best competition around. Managed a 95th out of 158. Happy with that. One thing I did learn personally is how deadly FFS can be. I’ve used it on others peoples boats, but in your own hands In your control it was a different ball game. I caught my limit of 5 and all of them but one I caught using the tech. Whether it was seeing them or targeting submerged cover I benefited from it. Practice was horrendous days prior & this my first time with it on the kayak. All in all I’m really proud of myself getting out there and conquering some fears and accomplishing some growth.
I'm not able to access content, but I paid for my subscription.. can anyone tell me what to do?

I catch most of my fish in the mid heat of the day.. during these times when it’s hot and water temps get extreme I find most of the fish stick tight to cover and shade.. 90% of my fish are coming on finesse tactics.. low and slow is the key for me lately.. hope this helps others ..
I’m struggling hard to catch fish.
I can’t tell if its just the summer paired with the bodies of water I have available or what, but I just can’t seem to get on the fish. I’m throwing everything you can think of. I catch one here and there on a frog, a wacky, spinner baits, flipping jigs, you name it I’ll catch one on it…. But I’ll go out for 5 hours and catch one fish.
I’m fishing rivers. The confluence of the Neuse and Trent near New Bern, NC. Any advice appreciated.
