Fishing the Neuse/Trent rivers here in NC. Just cant seem to find anything larger than these dinks. Lots of frogging and flipping pads. Need to find deeper water, surface temp was 88° yesterday. Fished a couple 15-25 foot holes with a big worm, one little tap but no fish.

Found some good bream beds on the Oconee river yesterday...and about 20 bass... 17.50 was my biggest... just can't seem to find anything bigger lately..

The video doesn’t do it justice how fast the current is in this area. Watch how I fall off at the trolling motor and writhing a matter of a seconds I re-enter the boat near the seats! On a free float you’re at about 2.5 mph. That’s your trolling motor in about 80%.
