You guys have a bait that if you catch one fish on it, you won't put it down? So the rest of your day is either awesome or miserable. For me today it was the frog. Caught this little 13 incher and mentally put all the other rods in the truck. No luck the rest of the day but every cast I was waiting for that next blow up!
Pitched and flipped for a couple largies. 4.3 pounds and 5.6 pounds. Handful of little guys as well. They all looked post spawn, HUGE mouths but not a lot of width.
Lake Toho did not disappoint this morning. Did not get to fish as long as I wanted wind is starting to pick up and was not able to fish the areas that I was focusing on today. Hydrilla in 6 to 8 ft of water. Started out Carolina rig 30 minutes nothing switch to shaky Head 30 minutes nothing decided to start throwing a rattle trap bingo. Ended the day with four this was the largest.
My co worker asked me to take him fishing, and as he was showing me the fry swimming by I hooked into a 5 lb baddie. He broke my net lol but at least I still landed the fish.

Check out these bream beds on lake Sinclair.. there were 3 or 4 monster bass hanging around in the area, but these were definitely bream beds cause a big ole fat bream was floating right in the middle of each one.. to get the picture, I stuck my sunglasses in front of my phones camera lens in the 1st picture, the 2nd one is normal.. that trick worked.. lol

Got in a bit of pre fishing today for a local tornament coming up on the 9th. 1st time this year in my home lake. Cought some clunkers. Water temp was 58°F. I think its getting about that time!! The three bass i cought are close to the bank about 1 to 2 ft of water. Snagged a carp, that was fun, but then a mess, wrapped around my trolling motor and wasted about 10 min of my life, lol... 🤦
