People think the bait floats but most don’t .. if you use a light wire hook and a Zman soft plastic it will actually float off the bottom..and I’ll give some juice the scented jerk shads are salt impregnated and they will actually sink ever so slowly looks so good on a Carolina rig…

I’ve caught dozens of bass off the ball and chain.. I mainly fish it on harder bottoms or use it to find bottom composition changes.. I only throw a lizard on it because it’s the staple lol.. I tend to use 3/4 oz at all times . I think most people go to light on the weight and loose bottom contact .. I tend to fish alot of mucky bottoms so I don’t throw it as much

Who would of thought muddy water with less than 6 inches of visibility a damn wacky rig/drop shot and Ned rig would of saved the day.. I believe we came in 4th only like 2 pounds from the money

Will Davis I really like the ballin out jig but for all around cover and dock skipping that bass mooch spanky jig is a solid jig with hand tied skirt..
