I marked 88 today, id say the Bass are acting like Bass do! 88 or 65 just got to figure out how to present the bait to them and which ones to use and IT'S ON... most of the time, lol!

How's everyone's SUF tornament going?! I like this tornament format, I realy do. It prolongs the frustration that you have trying to cull fish for a month with what ya got to work with!! 😆 You hit all your best spots, ya probably have caught some of the same fish a half dozen times, but you do it because ya love it!! Plus, your puting into action the things that we are learning from one another, and being competitive is just flat out fun!!

Had a good day today, was trying to get rid of two 18" and was successful. I got really tuned into what these bass where doing today so I decided to weigh my best 5 to make it alittle more of a challenge for myself. I did alright, through some bass back before I started weighing them that would have put me over 17lbs I'm sure, but just a good fishing day!! Even got a crappie and a pike that I had already caught earlier in the day and the second time got hooked real bad so its on the menu, most likely tomorrow's supper!! Keep on fishing SUF people! Have a great 4th of July weekend!!

My opinion, if the topic is punching through cover with a big worm or creature baits, I have found no better hook so far than those Spearpoint Fury Flip hooks.  That's all I have now for that technique for soft plastics.  It's a great hook!!  4/0 and 5/0 find some pads and lets go!!  I see some comments for the drop shot.  If I am trying to present the bait in the weedless form I will use the SS worm standard gauge from spearpoint or the other one I use a lot is a  ReBarb hook from roboworm.  Both are fantastic.  If I am nose hooking with a drop shot, I personally don't use the spearpoint finesse hooks. I don't find that the flat worm or whatever I am using sits on the hook right.  Actually due to that bend.  I am currently going to be trying out a new hook to me from 6th sense which is there drop shot hook for the nose hook stuff.
