Christopher Bowman which 2 did you get? I can see they are spinning and KLX but that's as much as I can tell from the pics.

I'm wanting to take a swipe at kayak fishing again myself this year. I fished a couple of Blats tournaments this year from the bank and narrowed my rod selection down to 3. It was usually 2 baitcasters and 1 spinning. One baitcaster was Medium-Heavy. Another was Light Medium Heavy for crankbaits and moving baits. Spinning was medium light to throw Ned, wacky, shaky head, and strollin. Sometimes even just carried two spinning and one medium heavy baitcaster when I targeted creeks. The difference for the spinning was line size and leader especially when I found late spawners

Advice from a bank fisher. I'd Google Earth and go back in time to look for any structure that you don't normally see when the lake is full. 50-60°...I'd take Mack Toon advice. I'm in Texas. Topwater is never out of the equation. Jerkbaits are combination locks. Chatterbaits (minimax) get the anchor for your bag on weed lines. Good luck and tight lines!

I'm that dummy that will throw a chatterbait(especially a minimax) into the brush/timber. I know going in the odds of getting hung up are not in my favor(I basically had a reocurring order at TW). But the reward often outweighed the risk. I'll sacrifice the chatterbait for a few 5lbers if I'm struggling.

24-48 hours tops (this year) lol.
