Hey buddy.. stand your net up at the head of the bass/board.. I can't count how many have been saved by this trick.. for some reason, when they flip, they almost always leave the kayak on the left side..

it's an awesome experience, win or "not win"... and you're nervous cause it matters to you.. it'll get better, I promise.. last year I didn't even get a limit mist of the tournaments, lucked up and got 4th, then 3rd... then this year, at our 1st tournament, I got 1st.. Hang in there, it gets better... and, download the "iboating" app.. I heard about it thru Matthew Dennis... You can hit layers, and enable depth shading.. also, it has Ai assisted good fishing spots..(the dots in the pict). hope this helps..

I had a fish disqualified cause my pinky tip had gotten under the edge of the gill plate also.. it was a 17" bass.. but I still won the tournament.. turned out I didn't even need that fish...I've been fishing tournaments almost 3 years, mistakes do happen..

Matthew Dennis yeah, we'll do that.. Corey, Jason Starley and I are planning a float down the Flint or Ocmulgee soon. we were going last weekend but the high river made us postpone.. I'll let u know when we are going.. maybe u can join us.. we went a few times last summer and it was awesome..

Tennessee Rivers Tackle Co. wow.. that'll be great.! I'll message you with my address.. and yeah, I'll try them out and get some more.. I kayak bass fish, with a few friends, so they'll get a look at them also. We fish rivers and lakes here in middle Georgia.. Flint river, oconee river, Ocmulgee river, lake Sinclair, lake julliette, etc. plus, I'm in 2 kayak bass fishing clubs also, and we are always fishing new waters.. so I'll give them a good testing for ya..!
