So much for all the bluster. Thanks to the tropical storm that came through most of the boat ramps in the area are closed due to high water.  Might have to hit the road to find fishable waters.

Now that I have had a chance to rest a little and run through the mental gymnastics of evaluating my decisions from this most recent tournament, I thought I'd share what felt like a weekend with the Bad News Bears. Tournament recap from Clark's Hill BFL (THE BLOOPER REEL). I typed out a much longer version and decided to keep it shortish.

  1. Lost trolling motor prop.

  2. Blew a fuse for all electronics on the bow.

  3. Co-angler hit me in the face with his fishing rod while I was trying to net his fish. Which he let get off.

  4. Broke a rod.

  5. Lost a $$$ glide bait on the 2nd cast ever with it.

Even with those fun anecdotes, I had a great experience.
