Took my nephew out for his first time fishing on a boat/kayak. Said he always liked to fish, but couldn’t get to the spots he wanted. Fishing must come naturally to him because I took him where ever he wanted and he caught these. 3 fish for 12 lbs. Not a bad bag for a first timer.
This is my niece Ellie. She is 6 and this was her first time to ever go fishing with us.
My brother took her to Academy sports bought her a little profishency pink pole and she not only caught her first fish, she caught the MOST fish and the BIGGEST fish.
She by herself bank flipped a 3.34 pound bass on that little pole. It was epic! lol
I asked her “ Ellie, do you like to fish?”
She said “ uncle Jay, I don’t like to fish, I LOOOOVE fishing! She kicked all our basses that day! lol #shesgoingpro
I had a good day today. 22 lb toothy largemouth on a neko rig on a BardeRodz Slick Stick! It made a few drag burning runs. :-) Plus a 5lber. I caught about 15 smaller pike today and got snipped off multiple times.
Fished a 3 State no-limit kayak bass tournament yesterday.. finished 15th out of 29 anglers.. Most of my.catches were shoal.bass, Ocmulgee river, Popes Ferry boatramp area..
Last weekends practice before tournament win. :-) I had a couple of great days fishing. I did get stopped by the EPO so make sure you have an up to date fishing license where ever you go. St Lawrence is next...
